Snoopy Needs a Home
Snoopy and her siblings were separated from their mother and given away for adoption when they were merely a month old because the owners did not want to keep them. However, Snoopy did not find a new home as she was born with a slightly deformed nose, even though it did not alter her appearance much or cause any breathing problems. She was lucky to be taken in by a foster family who was willing to look after her till a compassionate animal lover would give her a permanent home. Her nose doesn’t cause her any breathing problems.
This adorable ball of fur which looks cute despite her funny little nose is in need of a loving home, where she is bound to capture many hearts and bring joy to the family who adopts her.
By adopting a street dog not only does one give a better life to a homeless dog but also acquire a new friend for life. It is also more cost effective than purchasing a dog spending thousands of rupees. By adopting it is not only the dog who receives a new lease of life. The new owners will realise that opening their home to a homeless animal is one of the most rewarding acts they do in life. Stray dogs face many traumatic experiences such as being knocked down from a vehicle, ill- treated by ill- tempered humans and contracting infections when they live on the streets.

Embark does not have a shelter to keep pups. Kind families who foster rescued pups off the street try to find permanent homes through Embark. Embark also promotes people to become fosters as it is quite a kind and rewarding job to have. The pups and dogs offered for adoption are vaccinated and if it is a female pup over2.5 months it is sterilised prior to adoption. Embark not only offers free vaccinations and sterilisations to dogs adopted by families but also offers advice on training, grooming and treatment.
