Besides Embark's Sterilization Campaign, another important and challenging campaign we've undertaken is the Saving the Injured Campaign. As it is part of Embark's mission to care for all animals in need, the team actively assists in a number of cases of seriously injured stray animals. Upon being alerted of a situation through the Embark Hotline, the team acts by means of search, rescue and treatment.

For instance, Suddhi the first rescued three-legged dog, is now loved and has a will to live.

An important aspect of this campaign is after care. The trauma of injuries could permanently scar an animal not only physically but also mentally. Individual attention is given to the animals in the hope that it will ease their distress and further improve their chances of recovery.

In Keeping with Embark's dream to provide stray animals with a home, the animals rescued and treated in the Saving the Injured Campaign are given high priority when re-homing. As they require constant, attentive care, the Embark team ensures that any potential owners are well aware of animal's special needs as a result of its injuries.
